Gordon West, WB6NOA, is Coming to Benicia!

The Benicia Amateur Radio Club is pleased to announce that internationally renowned author and educator, Gordon West, WB6NOA, will be the guest speaker at its October meeting.

 His topic will be, “Emergency Communications and Your Served Agencies”.

“Help your city become a State ACS communication agency and involve ARES and RACES  [In Solano Co.-ACS] in EmComm support for events, emergencies and disasters. We will also discuss how to build a strong relationship, training requirements and the problems and pitfalls of volunteers working with a served agency.”

It will be a roundtable, where your input is encouraged! Come join us for this very special evening!

He visits us on Thursday, October 15 in the Downtown Benicia Fire Station, 150 Military West. Doors open around 7:00 PM and the meeting starts at 7:30. Please enter via the West 2nd St side door
