October 9th BARC Meeting: Michelle Paquette with her new antenna presentation: “Magnetic Loop Antennas”.
Past BARC President, Michelle Paquette will be giving another exciting presentation on compact antennas. She will be giving it on a new specific antenna she has been trying: a Magnetic Loop antenna, which works well in condos and HOAs. (Although we hear it's pretty finicky!) Our exciting Get Your License-in-a Day class is followed by a FREE Get-on-the-Air class, or GOTA class. The GOTA class demonstrates how to get on the air and then YOU get on the air! Our annual Christmas Holiday Party is on on December 11th! (the same night that we would normally have our monthly meeting, the second Tuesday of the month, in December). The Party will be held at the Benicia Senior Center, 1201 East 2nd St. It will start at 6:30 pm for socializing and Dinner at 7:30.
